The motto translates to “believe love hope”, and features three dangles below it: one with the letter “M”, one with the letter “L”, and a reddish-purple faceted amethyst hanging in the center. The amethyst is a recent replacement. The “ML” can represent one’s initials, the first initial’s of a wedded pair (“Mark” and “Lauren”), or used as an acronym to symbolize “My Love”.
