“All of these lines across my face tell you the story of who I am…” croons Brandi Carlisle in “The Story”.

These lyrics echo rings such as this. Lines and imperfections throughout that tell a story behind the events this ring lived through, the whispers it’s heard throughout history, or rudimentary daily errands it’s visited in post-Elizabethan markets. Perhaps a wave imperfection appeared at the top of the band from it being buried then unearthed years later.

This posy ring speaks a story that hasn’t been told. Inscribed on the inside is “content is a treasur” (sic) where a rivet decorates the outside of the band. Circa 1600s, ring was crafted 350-400 years ago and is amazingly available to wear centuries later.
