  • Do you offer layaway?
    At the moment we offer layaway for purchases of at least $1,000 (not including shipping). This policy might be ammended in the future. Layaway requires a non-refundable deposit that goes toward the purchase of your item. An agreed upon timeline, which can vary between 1-3 months to complete purchase of your item, will be discussed with you via email. Once this has been determined then a deposit will be required to reserve the item. If you do not complete payments in the agreed upon timeline then there will be forfeiture of your deposit, and the item will be listed publicly for sale again.
  • Do you offer returns/refunds, cancellations or exchanges?
    No. We are happy to answer any questions you have prior to purchase, so please contact us if you have any questions about an item you may be interested in and we will respond back quickly. All sales are final.
  • What kind of jewelry and other items do you specialize in selling?
    We exclusively sell vintage, antique, and ancient jewelry. We also sell other collectibles including antique books, ancient relics, rare artifacts, etc.
  • Do you sell any modern items or reproductions?
    No. Everything listed for sale is either vintage, antique, or ancient.
  • I am new to collecting antique jewelry. Will my item have any damage on it?
    As with all antique jewelry, wear is to be expected. This is what makes your jewelry unique, and each piece holds a story of its own. We always try to clarify the condition of each piece; however, general wear is sometimes apparent on all antiquities. If this is a concern of yours, please contact us for any questions before your purchase.
  • Do you appraise items?
    Unfortunately we do not offer this service.
  • From where is my item shipping, and do you ship internationally?
    All products are located in the USA, and yes we do ship internationally. For international shipments, please note that we are not responsible for any fees that may be incurred by customs. We do not collect these fees.
  • Do you buy jewelry and/or other vintage/antique collectibles?
    Yes. Please email photos of your item and a brief description of what you are selling. We will let you know if we are intersted in purchasing the item to list for sale on our site.
  • Does my purchase include a warranty?
    Due to the antique/vintage nature of our items, no warranty is offered on any item.
  • Is financing available?
    Vault 1912 is partnered with Klarna to offer a 4-part payment plan with purchases up to $1,000 (additional payment plans may be offered in the future). Please select Klarna at checkout to take advantage of this option if you would like your purchase to be financed with them, and note that any agreement made on their site is not associated with Vault 1912. Unlike layaway, with Klarna your order is shipped after your first down payment.
  • I ordered a ring and I thought the size would fit me, but it does not.
    Please note that some ring sizers vary, and also when converting from USA ring size to a foreign ring size, this can sometimes vary from 0.5 size to 1.5 sizes. If you need assitance in figuring out if a ring might have the proper fit on you or not, please feel free to contact us and we will be glad to assist you.
